Players able to create sift rifts

I think it would be very cool if us, the players, would be able to create the rifts kind of like the upgraded pillagers do. It would be really cool if it was some expensive artifact that has a complex crafting recipe. Or another idea would add in new “mechanical blocks” to actually open up a rift to the sift. It can be like a specific set up with new blocks that requires energy like coal or something from the sift to turn on and open your very own rift. It would be really cool to see this concept in vanilla Minecraft. Thank you if you do read this, and if even the smallest possibility that you add my idea. (Or if it’s already added)
