A Gum / Eucalyptus biome added to Minecraft, inspired by the Australian bush.

The biome would contain eucalyptus trees, native plants, rocky hills, water sources, kangaroos, koalas and wombats.

The main feature would be the day-night cycle:

• Daytime: Kangaroos, koalas and wombats are friendly, peaceful animals that players can observe and interact with.
• Nighttime: All three animals become hostile, stronger and aggressive. Kangaroos jump at players and deliver powerful kicks, koalas climb trees and drop onto unsuspecting players, and wombats charge with great strength and high health.
• No other hostile monsters: The animals themselves are the danger. This would make surviving the night in this biome a unique challenge.

The biome could also introduce eucalyptus wood, gum-tree leaves and new Australian wildlife sounds.

I think this would make Minecraft more interesting by introducing Australian wildlife, a new type of forest, and a biome where players must prepare for nightfall rather than simply defend themselves against zombies and skeletons.
