I tested two APKs from the same build:
Music version: 693 MB
No-music version: 414 MB
Difference: 279 MB (~67%)
The performance difference was also noticeable. The no-music version reached about 60 FPS while standing and 47 FPS while moving quickly, while the music version reached about 45 FPS standing and could drop to around 20 FPS during fast movement.
This does not prove that music playback itself causes lag. However, the large APK size difference suggests that the music-enabled package may contain additional assets, resources, audio data, or other files that are absent or optimized in the no-music version.
It is possible that the no-music version is not simply the same game with music disabled, but a lighter resource package with fewer files or different compression/resource loading.
The difference becomes especially noticeable while moving, which could indicate additional resource loading, asset management, chunk loading, storage I/O, or other background processing.
A file-by-file comparison of both packages could reveal what causes the difference.
In short: the music-enabled package appears significantly heavier, and its performance is noticeably worse. The exact reason may involve more than music itself and could be related to differences in the overall resource package.
