Prototype of Waitomo Cave. This biome is intended to provide a natural home for the Glowing Squid.
Blocks.
1. Limestone is a new building block with a cream color.
2. Lumiorite is a fictional block that is also a building block. During the day it is an ordinary stone, but at night its bright veins glow (like an squid).
3. Fluorite - if we consider similar mechanics, then such a material does not glow on its own, but only directly when exposed to ultraviolet light. It can be realized through new flora. Fluorite glows if there is luminescent flora within a certain radius.
4. Stalactite growths.
Flora.
1. Glowing moss and lichen: Cover walls and floors, floors in ponds. They emit a light, soft light (like the eyes of an Enderman).
2. Bio-mycelium: the essence is the ability to safely grow mushrooms in lighted places without creating special dark rooms. Doesn't break automatic farms, but gives regular players an alternative.
3. Luminescent Vines (Living Garlands): Unlike glowing berries, these vines grow horizontally instead of vertically. They give off dim, multi-colored light. This is a solution for holiday decor without using modern blocks.
4. Bioluminescent threads: Hanging from the ceiling, complementing the visual style of the “starry sky”.
Fauna:
1. Glowing squid: Has an increased spawn chance here. His rightful home.
2. Luminescent Cave Toad: A new species of toad found in this ecosystem. When consumed, a small magma slime cube produces a blue or turquoise lamp
