I think Minecraft should add colored brick blocks!
Minecraft already has many blocks available in different colors, such as concrete, wool, terracotta, and glass. However, the classic brick block has remained red/orange. I think adding colored bricks would give builders a great new option for realistic and creative builds.
I would love to see bricks available in all 16 Minecraft colors:
White, Orange, Magenta, Light Blue, Yellow, Lime, Pink, Gray, Light Gray, Cyan, Purple, Blue, Brown, Green, Red, and Black.
Colored bricks could be especially useful for houses, churches, schools, barns, shops, factories, paths, walls, and many other builds. They would also look different from concrete and terracotta while still having the familiar brick texture.
A simple crafting system could be used: combine regular bricks with a dye to create the corresponding colored bricks. For example, Bricks + White Dye = White Bricks.
The current red brick block should stay exactly as it is. Colored bricks would simply give players more choices and allow for much more variety when building.
Minecraft is a game built around creativity, and I think colored bricks would be a simple but fantastic addition that many builders would enjoy!
