The transition from the Overworld to the Ender Dragon feels too fast and straightforward. I propose an End mini-boss sequence inspired by Minecraft Dungeons’ Endersent lore, making The End dangerous, tactical and memorable. Phase 1 – Stronghold Hunt: An Endersent is already spawned and lives in the Stronghold. It constantly patrols the Stronghold, controlling Silverfish and Watchlings that roam the halls and hunt players. It can crouch to move through narrow 3–4-block-high spaces, making the Stronghold feel unsafe and giving players a reason to fear being hunted before entering The End. Phase 2 – Infinite Corridor: Instead of the usual obsidian platform, players enter a 5-block-wide bridge over the void. The fully healed Endersent waits at its center. It has 300 HP, and an invisible barrier prevents bypassing it. Players must defeat it. It uses Teleport Smash to knock players off and summons Watchling waves to swarm and distract them. Phantom Paths: 2–4 parallel bridges float 15–20 blocks below the main bridge, partly hidden by End mist, creating an ancient labyrinth feel and giving the void more depth. If players fall, they may land on a lower path instead of dying. They become trapped there, must fight Watchlings, and find a way back to the main bridge. Goal: Make reaching the Ender Dragon feel like a dangerous expedition, while adding atmosphere, tactics, verticality and mystery. This could also give Minecraft Movie 2 more opportunities for tense End sequences.
