Gloves

Gloves will be crafted from two pieces of material (leather, iron, chains, gold or diamonds [diamond gloves can be upgraded to netherite]): one on the left, the other on the right, as in shoe crafting. They will have a separate layer, and a texture size of 4*4 for Steve or 3*4for Alex. Gloves will significantly (depending on the material) improve the accuracy, damage and range of throwing arrows, snowballs, potions, etc. as well as significantly increase the damage to weapons and strikes and the effectiveness of tools. If you hit with a glove at the moment of the flight of throwing weapons or arrows at the player, you can repel them like ghost fireballs.

Good idea! The aether mod itself has gloves, and that proves how they could work. If the devs at the Aether studio can do that, why not Mojang?

We were hoping one day that they would make up their minds about whether to add anymore armor/player accessories or not.
