The Nether World still uses the 2D biome system, so I think it needs to be used slightly, using this to add biomes that "will work well with this system", namely:
•Blackstone Caves. I propose to create a biome that completely ignores the creation of "large cavities", leaving only caves and canyons to appear. Blackstone is much more common, with a slight increase in the chance of finding Gold Ores (depending on which block the ore replaces during generation, and a variety of Gold Ore can be replaced), Quartz, and possibly Ancient Debris.
•Lava Ocean. Just give the lava oceans their own biome, which will be distinguished by a lighter yellow-orange mist, the appearance of Basalt Columns and an increased chance of Ancient Debris appearing on the bottom of the lava ocean (directly under the lava block). I think this kind of mining will be much more fun than ordinary digging.
•Basalt Beach. By analogy with the beaches of the Overworld, it appears on the border of the oceans, and is a relatively flat layer of ordinary Basalt. A small biome that serves as a decoration.
That's all. Does anyone else have any ideas?
