Projectile Protection and spear balance change

Projectile Protection is an enchant that reduces the damage of ranged attacks and flying objects

a very common use for spears is the  right click ability, and it usually does damage the faster you go. So the spear could very much count in the enchants description 
Especially when most spear use cases are when falling off cliffs/using elytra

That'd really make spears more balanced and also make there an actual use for projectile protection

  Spears are technically throwable and yes they are projectiles. It still wouldn't be good as then crystals would blow you up in pvp without the protection or blow protect. Look up https://feedback.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/community/posts/49428025489805-Add-temporary-effects-to-tools-and-weapons, maybe we could apply this to armor as well some way ? Temporary effects that would not be stackeable and would increase only one stat each.
