Offline Characters to Online Characters

I was very upset when I had to create a whole new character for online. I thought I could switch from offline to online with my character but unfortunately i cannot. I am a university student when usually they have the spare time to game, I play minecraft dungeons. Please make it work.

Wait, so I can never decide to play online with others now?? That’s so stupid. Did they vibe code this entire game??

The reason it can't be converted is probably to prevent cheating, as a offline hero could be modified with an app (editing stuff like Level, inventory, etc) but an online hero couldnt (since the save file is on a server)
