Cape distribution really needs an overhaul

As usual with every cape release lately - Twitch drops the ball and don’t distribute any capes, I just missed the Corrupted Creeper Cape & is about to miss the Aurora cape because of their ineptitude & couldn’t care less attitude. For the Corrupted Creeper they recognized I watch 15 minutes but didn’t give me a code & currently for the Aurora cape they don’t even bother taking attendance. They just exploit the increased number of people watching Minecraft streams for their own revenue, without honoring their agreement with you. How is Microsoft (& Mojang) fine with not only the company but their customers being exploited like this? They’re using the goodwill of your company to exploit viewer and it reflects badly on you as well. And no, I will refuse to get TikTok mainly for privacy & political reasons but also I really don’t see the value in that ridiculous format of brain rot. My suggestion is you quit distributing capes over events with 3rd party predatory companies & go back to Challenges & Live Event distribution - at least it’s fair with everyone participating. It will actually require some input from you, but in the end everyone will be happier & the capes kept in higher regard by the player - since they actually had to work for them, instead of just (hopefully) getting one for with zero effort.

  I (mostly) agree, but perhaps you have other information than I have, at least as far as the Aurora Cape is concerned, from what I've been able to gather from other discussion boards and forums talking about it, its not necessarily Twitches fault, but Mojang for not giving them enough codes.

  Considering, as you mentioned, that they already had a way to distribute capes via Minecraft Lives, live events, etc, as well as having in-game challenges (which I prefer myself), it doesn't really make much sense to me to start going through third-parties instead. Hopefully they will return to doing their own distributions through their own events, or at minimum start doing it again alongside the drops, except instead of limiting it to one or two capes, doing it for all of them.
