Fix this 100% please. Minecraft Dungeons 1 allowed total freedom to play the offline characters in any combination, and now with this new game everything is locked up to p1. Offline characters when accessed for the next play session also all reset to a default skin so we can't tell them apart in the selection menu. No gear evident in the campfire scene compounds this issue.

I agree with the others about this and would like to be able to use the characters we created under the main hero as a solo player without the main hero. My oldest son (A) started playing MD2 and my younger sons (B and C) and I (D) joined in. Currently, player B, C, and D can not play together or alone without player A. This is a HUGE problem for our family of 4 who loved the original Minecraft Dungeons and played at all different times in different player group arrangements and were able to level up our characters. Please fix this. Personally, this is a massive disappointment to my children and it's so upsetting that we don't even want to play anymore. We have been looking forward to this game for months and pre-ordered it months ago.

We have the same issue. It is really annoying that we can’t mix our characters as easily as in MD1 before. It was always a blast to join up with different people but keeping their original characters. Now this is totally lost!

Yes, please fix this, my kids are very frustrated as they have different schedules and want the ability to play their profiles without player1 needing to play as well

Please fix this!! I cannot play the game at a seperate time from the other people in my household, so we made our own offline heros and it still does not work in the same menu. Get rid of the ridiculous couch co-op requirements and let us play the game we bought, just like Minecraft Dungeons 1. The login system is already convoluted enough.

+1 to this issue. Regardless of intent blocking access to offline profiles made by others in co-op specifically under their own switch profiles should not be locked behind the switch profile that opened the game. They should be linked to the switch profile the player joining the co-op selects when joining OR when opening the game.

This looks like an oversight during cross platform coding that was overlooked and should be hopefully easy to correct

Have to agree. We got the game yesterday and instantly noticed the problem. We play on ps5, but first time around the characters on my sons and gf guest account vanished instantly when we logged off. And the skin keeps returning to default and lvls set back.

Worst set up ever in MD2. Wish we had checked up this stuff before hand. Cause this is really anoying and ruining the family fun that we had before with MD1...
