A few suggestions for the warden to make it the way it was meant to be
First off, let me say this.
We're not changing the textures, the sculk is perfectly nightmare fuel as can be.
My issue is the AI.
Suggestion #1:
A priority system.
You ever notice how the warden just keeps hunting bats all the time? Isn't it supposed to hunt players?
EXACTLY!
Which is why i put a priority system, with minor mobs like bats, pigs and other non-attacking mob.
Top Priority
Players, Wolves, Snowballs, pretty much any ally or helping item that is throwable to the Player
Mid-tier priority
Other hostile mobs like creepers and zombies.
Low tier priority
Passive mobs.
SUGGESTION #2:
So let's set the scene.
You're wandering an ancient city, being as careful as possible with noise, because you know full and well the Warden is a risk you do not want to take.
Then, you see in the corner of your eye, the Warden stalking you.
You turn to face it and it burrows into the ground, as to not be noticed.
In a moment of panic, you make ALOT of noise, drawing in the Warden.
The idea is Utilizing Fear.
Mini-jumpscares, if you will.
And those were my ideas.
