Gifting Games to International minecraft Friends

"Can we please have the option to select copies based on global region or have it auto populate based on the recipients global region."

I have a Friend who live in a different country/continent and I want to gift them a copy of the new Dungeons 2 so we could play together, but the redeem code would only be valid for my own country. I was very sad to learn this as we were both looking forward to it together.

I understand there may be a currency conversion issues when thinking about purchasing a copy of the game to a Minecraft Friend outside of the purchases country/region, but considering how big Minecraft already is, I thought this wouldn't have been an issue.
