Ice and snow bricks block set.

A new block set that could give players some more texture and some more white and blueish blocks for the game to really ensure the winter wonderland feeling

    I think Snow blockset could be compensated for with a calcite blockset.

    You could add snow bricks, as well as stair and slab variants, and update the igloo design to use the new snow bricks

    blue/packed ice block variants like bricks, chiseled, then walls of bricks and maybe even regular blocks and stairs and slabs too, could be fine addition to builders sets
    blue brick sets would be unique, I dont think we got anything such at moment, so it is much better than yet another gray bricks, those we got multiple materials, and both, packed and blue, ice variants have different color enough to both easily deserve bricks and stuff if either of those should get one
    I imagine chiseled ice blocks could have snow flake on them, not sure what mob would be fitting most to them, if chiseled blocks should focus on mob designs (but chiseled regular stone dont have mob design too, so I dont think it should be mandatory aspect)
    should stay slippery, like their regular versions, maybe if waxed, they would not make things and mobs slide, so we can use them on floors too, would not make most of sense but some could
    regular ice is questionable for bricks as it usually can melt, but there isnt any more reasons why it cant be shaped into bricks and stuff too, but would be little weird to encourage people to build of something that just melts easily like that

    Ice bricks and snow bricks would be perfect for new structures inside the caves as well, like a frozen dungeon. It will also give another thing for Trial Spawners to spawn with, which would also add the Frostbite to Trial Chambers,

    There is literally no reason they cannot add these blocks. Two pieces of fandom, plus IRL structures indicate the need for these blocktypes to exist. The real life context lies with the fact that we have Inuit villagers in the frozen biomes. As such, we should the igloos updates to have snow bricks with the same shape/texture of mud bricks (also these two colors would REALLY go well together) The need for Packed and Blue Ice brick variants is backed up with the fact that the movie Frozen exists, and that castles like Elsa's and the White Witch Jadis' palace from Narnia utilize ice in their structures. I think Minecraft's currently ignored snow biomes could could see a massive influx of builders if these variants were added.

    I wholeheartedly agree. 
    A proper blue block palette for Ice blocks (ice bricks, chiseled ice bricks, etc) Which would be crafted from the already existing Blue Ice. This cave is a perfect spot to mine a vast amount of blue ice. 

    Additionally, the abundance of Calcite in the caves allows for a white block palette, such as chiseled calcite or calcite bricks. 

    I seriously hope Mojang considers adding this feature. It would give us new building blocks, enhancing creativity with literally no downsides.

    Instead of a snow block set I think a calcite block set would be better. A blue ice block set would still be good.

    I think it would be cool to see a blockset for the Snow (specifically snow bricks for the igloo), Packed Ice (since it's denser than Ice and hopefully shouldn't melt), and Blue Ice (because it's a very nice color and I think would make a cool blockset in the cold). 

    I think polished, brick, and chiseled variants of the Packed Ice and Blue Ice would be nice. The snow is already kinda polished so just brick and maybe chiseled for that.

    The igloo structure should also be updated to be made of snow bricks instead of snow blocks if they add snow bricks.
