Please for the love of the game reset the players shriek aggression count when dying or reduce it.
These wardens are more annoying than scary and is ridiculous that even after death the shriek aggression count remains.
What's absurd is tandem shrieks setting off with no way of stopping the other shriek when navigating the city. It's near impossible looting a whole city without, lots of wool on hand and or triggering shriekers stuffed INSIDE THE WALLS.
Fix? 1. Player dies = warden shrieker aggression is reset / reduced by one.
2. Give players a chance to stop the shriekers call or lengthen it. As soon as the triggered shrieker stops its call is when it counts and it "knows" the warden is coming and has heard the call from their depths. They spawn in way too quick, and is a lame attempt of trying way too hard to scare players, it's more so annoying really.
3. Maybe add a way to stall wardens with music, they'll go to the jukebox stop and listen for a little bit.
I challenge the department to clear and loot every single chest in an ancient city, solo and under five hours of playtime, given that you DON'T know that supposed wool blocks absorb sound being the rules for the challenge. I didn't know wool was the cheat code until an internet search, and being accustomed that placing or breaking blocks becomes a risk until by chance you needed to place wool next to a sensor for WHATEVER reason, is rare and faint lesson for a player to learn from.
Fail the challenge and the latter is a must.
