As the Ice Caves head into testing, I wanted to gently share a few ideas that could build upon the incredible foundation you have already established. To make the environment feel even more distinct, perhaps players could occasionally encounter unique structures, like frozen ruins or small ice shrines encased in packed ice. Additionally, while the new Frozen Zombie and its throwable ice balls bring an awesome challenge, adding a rare ambient creature like a glowing frost cave beetle or a translucent ice fish in ice pools could make the biome feel like a more intriguing ecosystem worth exploring. Expanding the loot to include rare, frost-themed treasures or unique armor trim templates (that has a snowflake trim pattern on the back and front if you chose to put it on a chestplate) buried within the calcite walls, this would also give adventurers a thrilling reason to venture the chilling depths of the ice caves. And as a last suggestion, many youtubers that livestreamed Minecraft Live pointed out that ice bricks, chiseled ice, ice walls, and ice stairs could be a good idea; it would make crafting with ice and building with ice look really cool.
Please know that these suggestions are offered purely out of a shared love for the game and with absolutely no pressure.
