Hello Mojang! Minecraft has expanded with massive biomes, but vanilla performance struggles. Most players use third-party mods like Sodium or OptiFine just to get stable FPS. I propose bringing modern rendering techniques natively into the base game.
Key Improvements:
1. Modernized Chunk Rendering
Rewrite the chunk pipeline to use modern OpenGL features (like multi-draw). Reducing CPU overhead for thousands of block faces would drastically boost FPS, especially in dense biomes like Jungles or Mangrove Swamps.
2. Advanced Occlusion Culling
Implement strict native occlusion culling so the engine doesn't waste hardware resources rendering blocks, hidden caves, and entities that are completely out of the player's line of sight behind solid walls.
3. Entity and AI Optimization
Optimize how the game calculates entity pathfinding and physics, which is the main cause of single-player tick lag (MSPT) and server stuttering near large villager halls or animal farms.
4. Expanded Video Settings
Add advanced video settings natively, such as dynamic particle scaling, disabling distant animations, and better memory allocation management.
This change adds no new content, but it would improve the experience for millions of players worldwide, making Minecraft smooth and accessible on all devices without external mods.
