1. Citrine Geodes in the Nether
• Concept: Bring a unique variation of Amethyst to the Nether: Citrine Geodes.
• Geology: Real Amethyst and Citrine share the same chemical composition (quartz/silicon dioxide). When Amethyst faces extreme heat (above 400°C), its iron oxidation changes, turning the crystals golden/orange.
• Game Logic: The Nether has extreme heat and generates Nether Quartz. Since the game features basalt and calcite in Overworld geodes (minerals directly tied to real amethyst formations), it makes perfect geological sense that geodes forming in the Nether's intense heat would turn into Citrine.
2. Expanding Sulfur to the Nether
• Concept: Generate sulfur structures or hazardous zones within the Nether, especially around Basalt Deltas.
• Geology: Sulfur is a primary volcanic element, matching the Nether's "giant volcano" aesthetic.
• Game Logic: Minecraft recently added sulfur to the Overworld. Bringing it to the Nether creates great consistency. Since water evaporates instantly there, sulfur could interact with lava to create toxic gas pockets or unique magmatic reactions.
