Copy/Clone Heroes

When creating a hero, we're prompted that online heroes will not be available for offline play, and once the subscription to gamepass expires, the hero is locked untill we renew it. This poses a problem with players that do play online and offline with different friend groups, or when the subscription expires. This means that once we are no longer to connected to gamepass, we have to start over with a new hero What: an option to clone or copy online heroes to offline, still locking the new copy as offline only. Why: players won't have to start over a new character if they don't have gamepass anymore of want to play offline. How: let players copy progress one-way from online to offline, and restrict the new copy to offline only. This way we keep fairness to online play, and allow the same character (a clone) to be played offline. And of course, for fairness, do NOT allow offline characters to be cloned to online. This will be a one way transfer/copy/clone thing. (I may be wrong as the game is literally brand new today lol)

  They should just make you able to change offline characters to online. I don't care if there's a chance that people will cheat. It's dumb.

  same issue...

  I just realized I’ve been playing on an offline character, and I’ve already made quite a lot of progress on it with levels and weapons.

  I’d also like it if you could copy/clone characters like in the first Minecraft Dungeons.
  I’ve been playing through the game with my friend, but he won’t be playing for the next week. I still want to play, but if I keep using our main characters, I’ll level up and progress past him, which would make it less fun for him when we play together again. Being able to make a copy of my character would mean I could keep playing while leaving the original at the same level and progression for when he comes back.
  It could also let you choose whether the copied character is online or offline. That would help people who accidentally start an offline character, put a bunch of hours into it, and then later realise they can’t use that character to play with friends.
  Basically, bringing back the character cloning system from the first game would solve both problems.
