There's absolutely zero reason for the game to not allow you to see the stats of items. The first game allowed you to do it. Removing this feature does nothing but make the game worse.

Agreed. This is a very stupid, very pointless change.  I would personally consider this a regression, a severe one at that.

It would make the game 100% more fun

Second game desperately needs stats from the first one, and what is even more weird is that they are showing them on the official MCD2 website, but they are actually missing in the game.

True, right now grinding differrent items seems to lack purpose

The ability to compare stats of weapons and armor is an integral part to any action RPG and any dungeon crawler; to the point nearly all of the games in the two genres, including the previous entry, allowed you to see weapon, armor, and artifact stats. To omit such an essential feature is kinda baffling. Hope stats get added soon.

EDIT: I get the end goal is for the game to be as accessible to as many people as possible, to make Minecraft Dungeons II appropriate for as many players' first dungeon crawler or ARPG. But perhaps things were dumbed down a little too much.

Please do a hot fix even something as simple as being able to see just damage and armor defense would do. Seriously please.

the power level is useless if I can't see the damage the item do.

My biggest complaint is the lack of stats and items having percentage buffs.  The buffs are entirely pointless if you can't see the base number they work off.  Cool this artifact increases your knockback by 150% but 150% of what number?

Instead of the percentage it may as well say this weapon go big boop because in terms of useful information both are equally pointless.

This is an essential feature, im confused why this is not included. At the very least make it toggle-able if the decision was made to make it more accessible. Please fix this as soon as possible. As far as ive seen this is one of the biggest issues right now.

Love the game, but I agree! This would make the game better.

It's a dungeon crawler with build crafting. It NEEDS detailed stats. One of my 2 major problems with the game.

Honestly I can't think of a single feature from the first one that should have been removed in the second. It should have been a complete improvement and there's no reason for it not to be

It's insane not being able to tell what's faster or what has more defense or other stats

I was concerned that I was the only one that had an issue with this. To be clear a power level isn't bad, but it cannot be the only way to determine if an item is good. Plus, builds aren't always about min-maxing, sometimes people just want to see how many hits they can take or how many enemies they can send flying

Loot feels completely pointless because I can't see what I'm missing or gaining from using a new item. Even if the concern is accessibility, which I don't think would be a problem, at the very least there needs to be an option to toggle this on. I feel like I'm playing on baby mode where the devs don't trust me to look at numbers without getting overwhelmed.

Looking at numbers to see which of the ones you want is not some herculean task only capable by the top 1% of intelligent specimens. Please have some faith in your playerbase.
