A singleplayer gamemode permanently set to Hard Mode where spawning assigns a "Life Card" with creative roleplay rules. Dying teleports you 5,000 blocks away to draw a new card and start a new life, saving past coordinates in a tracker.
How it Works:
- Life Card Menu: Side-by-side start screen. Left card shows a recommended archetype preset. Right card features a Plus (+) Sign to create a custom challenge card.
- Sandbox Freedom: No items or blocks are locked. Cards provide optional thematic guidelines. While each card suggests a theme, the ultimate style is up to you.
-
Example Archetypes: (The game would include various presets, such as:)
- The Astronaut: Must only grow food inside enclosed glass greenhouses. Tasks the player to build space stations or futuristic sci-fi outposts.
- Peaceful Living: Vegetarian diet, bury defeated mobs, and construct/visit a sanctuary every single week. Suggests a detailed medieval or rustic style.
- The Industrialist: Automation focus. Requires massive redstone engineering and automatic mob farms. Suggests building an industrial city.
- Custom Creator: Use the plus sign to write and save your own rule sets to a local library.
- Cycle of Life: If you die—by accident or intentionally when your work on a settlement is done—you teleport 5,000 blocks away to start a new life with a new card.
- Settlement Log & Visuals: A UI tab saves past coordinates to revisit later. The health bar features custom cracked hearts to match the survival aesthetic.
