I would like to suggest a new neutral/friendly bird mob for Minecraft: The Raven.
1. Habitat & Nesting Biomes: Ravens should spawn in Taiga, Old Growth Pine Taiga, and Snowy Taiga biomes, fitting their real-life habitats.
Nesting: Instead of standard nests, ravens inhabit Raven Holes—a new unique block inside the trunks of large spruce trees (similar to bee nests).
2. Taming & Interaction Mechanics Ravens cannot be tamed like traditional pets that follow you forever. Instead, they are independent. To interact with them, players need a new item: the Whistle (crafted with copper and feathers).
The Perch Mechanic: When you use the whistle near a raven, you can direct it to sit on a specific block or fence post. It will stay perched there, until you blow the whistle again to let it go.
3. The Bartering/Foraging
Feature Ravens love shiny things. If you give a perched raven a Gold Nugget or Gold Ingot, it will fly away into the wild. After some time, it will return to its perch and bring you back a random item.
Loot table ideas: Iron nuggets, copper nuggets, flint, emeralds, or rarely, a random music disc or amethyst shard.
