I think it would be interesting if there were ships sailing across the seas with drowned pirates on them. You could have two options to choose from (on the creators side). You could:
Idea 1: Defeat these infected ships to obtain loot and such.
Idea 2: having to "cure" the drowned pirates in order to have a functioning ship you trade items with from across the different biomes.
