With the new Sift dimension coming out, it really shows how much minecraft has changed over the years. The overworld got that massive cave update, the nether was totally reimagined, but the end is still exactly the same as it was back in 2016 and looks super old compared to everything else. It doesnt even need a hundred new lush biomes or a bunch of random creatures shoved into it, it just needs a proper visual and atmospheric overhaul. The sky box could have some cool cosmic dust or nebula effects, and they could use the new fog and lighting systems to make the void actually feel spooky and deep instead of just empty. have a bit more stuff do do, a change in the terrain generation. Right now the outer islands are just repetitive and yellow, so updating the textures and making the dimension look as high quality as the nether and the sift would make the endgame feel way more rewarding.
