Matcha Flavored is a data pack created with the goal of allowing players to truly appreciate the progression and gameplay of the game.
Minecraft has a progression system that, while classic and very iconic, suffers from everything happening too quickly, and the player doesn't really have the opportunity to appreciate the game in a truly rewarding way.
Minecraft itself has never been a game of perfect progression, but I understand that something a little slower, yet rewarding, can be of great importance to the player's narrative.
Matcha flavored is also known for making the game more manual and less reliant on farming, which often simply makes the game 100% AFK and completely removes the gameplay and exploration aspect.
My idea is not to remove the farms because Minecraft is also a game with total freedom in how you want to play.
But it's a fact that the accelerated mode, with practically everything solved using a farm, isn't intuitive or even that fun.
The game itself made a point of adding items and mechanics that would have been perfect for the beginning of the game (copper, campfires, etc.) but which are relegated to oblivion because they didn't want to interfere in the middle of the iconic progression.
Don't get me wrong, I simply love classical progression, but things need to be lighter and less rushed.
Farms should be one option, not the only one
