Desert Cave: A new cave system can rarely generate deep beneath desert biomes, creating a hidden underground world filled with ancient remains and buried secrets. These caves contain much more suspicious sand than normal, with a special loot table containing better archaeological rewards. Fossils can also be found throughout the caves, including rare large fossil formations. Very rarely, explorers can discover chests hidden deep underground containing loot ranging from common supplies to rare treasures, making the Desert Cave a rewarding place to explore without becoming an easy source of powerful resources.
