Calcite block set

If I'm being honest not giving calcite a block family is it a missed opportunity Mojang. Most people have already wrote asking for this. But I have seen in the official wiki that calcite is being added as part of the generation of the ice caves. So it'd be a missed opportunity not to add calcite as that'll be a game changer of a reason to build in the snowy biomes. As I love the calcite block and we don't have white polished bricks. So bricks, walls, slabs, polished. Like it could be game changing. So ples consider my suggestion adding calcite block family with the ice caves.

    Rise up, block enthusiasts! If we can't convince Mojang now then its never! They can't ignore it anymore!

    Calcite might be the best white block in game! It's just under used in survival due to limited access and no way to farm it, not asking for it but definitely welcome like smelting dripstone, basically Minecraft's limestone. Anyways, it's the closest thing to marble, a lot more subtle than pale oak, and imo more desirable than polished diorite, by no means a bad block.

    It just feels right since the other C&C stones got upgrades, except dripstone but tuff then copper by a long shot! 3 years in a row with the trumpet sounds from 26.1 lol. It would also fall in line with the Sulfur/Cinnabar block added in Chaos Cubed and ideally works for an iceologer cave home. First vanilla illager living underground???
