I’m proposing the environmental expansion and end-game mob ecosystem for The Mushroom Crusade update.S1: Mushroom plateau serve as the surface hub for the regional boss fight. It spawns vanilla Mooshrooms. alongside the existing vanilla Bogged and custom hostiles: Fungi Zombie, Mushroom Tangler spider, and Spore Creeper.S2: Defeating the boss replaces the surface with waterlogged Sunken Mushroom Fields, causing a land extension to rise from the sea where the Mushroom Depths are pushed out to form new coasts. The Depths spawn Glow Squids, Axolotls, Abyssal Spore Creepers, Drowned Fungi, Deep Mushroom Tanglers, and Sunken Bogged.S3: Shallow Mushroom Caves consist of layers packed with glowing mushrooms and radiant cave mycelium. They spawn ambient flying Shroombats, Cave Mushroom Tanglers, rare glowing blue or green Mooshroom variants, and aggressive Giant Shroom Worms (40 HP) that tunnel without breaking blocks.S4: Deep Mushroom Caves are illuminated by giant glowing mushrooms, small luminous fungi, and a floor of vibrant cave mycelium. This biome holds Shroomite Ore (requires Diamond Pickaxe) and is populated by hostile Shroombats, Cave Mushroom Tanglers, glowing blue or green Mooshrooms, and the Sporden (500 HP, 15 DMG). The Sporden tracks scent, vibrations, and pressure (detecting jumping within 50 blocks). Players can evade it via bucketable hot mud pools that block their scent trail completely; however, the extreme heat causes players to take damage after 30 seconds.
