Hi,
I know there are many people like me who try to create complex systems using commands and command blocks—things many players would not know how to build themselves.
Commands are not only useful for simple creations. For larger projects, they can become very complicated, especially for people who never learned command blocks. Minecraft Bedrock’s Script API offers more possibilities, but learning JavaScript from scratch can be difficult. For console players, creating advanced systems is even harder.
That is why I would like to suggest some new possibilities for commands.
For example, scoreboards could support more than just "dummy", and commands could access events such as itemUse. There could also be simple return values, such as {score=@s in example}, which would return the current scoreboard value.
Another idea would be an "EasyScript" system: a simple in-game scripting language that lets players create advanced systems without learning JavaScript. Things like viewedblock.x could provide information about the block or event being interacted with. Commands could also have ways to cancel or react to events.
Scoreboard filtering could also be expanded. Selectors already support tags, such as @a[tag=example,tag=!example2]. It would be useful to have similar comparisons for scoreboard values, such as comparing one player's score with another's.
Features like these could make advanced creation more accessible and let players build complex systems without full scripting knowledge. Thx
