Hear me out: the sift when looking at the sneakpeak of it in vanilla, it reminded me a lot of CS Lewis's planet of Malacandra. (How it is described, not in any fan art I could find. It has very similar style in color and overall feel, so here would be some cool ways to improve the dimension using the book as inspiration.
1. Mountains are exponential in height, large sloping bases, but then shoot up into tall spikes (usually a jade green)
2. Deep canyons with dotted caves in the sides
3. Some rock formations (whiteish blue to pink) look like billowing clouds or cauliflower. Usually not quite as tall as mountains, but would be a good 30-50 blocks tall
4. Trees are dense around beaches, and lower slopes of mountains. there are also stretches of land that is barren and filled with small pools. Trees are also tall and spindly, some give off little bits of light
I mixed the book's ideas with my own, but I feel like making the dimension to be distinctly different than anything else seen in the game is paramount to making it feel otherworldly
