In Minecraft dungeons, we were shown more illager variants, such as stronger pillagers, royal guards, and more. However, we were also shown the iceologer, which uses an ice wand to summon a large chunk of ice to drop on you, dealing damage and stunning you.
- (Iceologer Spawn) Now this could come to current Minecraft because it would fit the theme of the newly announced drop, but the iceologer could only spawn in pillager outposts in snowy/cold regions, such as the snowy plains, with a 40% chance to spawn in one. It may also have a snowy wizard-like tower that it would spawn in, which has a guaranteed Iceologer.
- (Mechanics) Its drop would be the ice wand, which (similar to dungeons 1) would summon a large chunk of ice, and drop it on the nearest mob that you are looking at (max range 15-20 blocks), this would deal 40% of the mob's health in damage (does not penetrate/ignore armor) and would stun and slow the mob for 0.5s.
- (Why should it come to the base game?) I believe that this would be a good addition to Minecraft because of the recently announced drop, the fact that there aren't already a lot of "cold" features in Minecraft (so little in fact that some players even try to avoid biomes such as the snowy plains for how useless and boring they are), and also because of the recent weapons that were added within the past years, such as the mace and spear. I also think this would be a great addition to the game because it could improve PvP with its stun mechanic.
