Minecraft Feedback — Part 2
Players Need More to Do and Explore: Once you obtain an Elytra, there is a steep decline in the incentive to explore. Minecraft needs more goals, challenges, discoveries, and accomplishments beyond building. What is the point of armor, weapons, and enchantments if there are so few meaningful situations to use them beyond the Ender Dragon?
Transportation: Ever since the Elytra was released, almost every other form of transportation has become obsolete or nearly useless. Horses, boats, minecarts, and other transportation methods should each have advantages and reasons to use them. There are many great ideas from the Minecraft community showing how transportation could be improved.
The Hammer and Other Drops: Why add exciting items like the hammer or armor trims when the chances of obtaining certain items are practically impossible? Rare items are fun, but there needs to be a reasonable balance between rarity and actually experiencing the content.
Minecraft Realms: Players are paying monthly for a service that frequently has connection problems or simply does not work. Paying for an unreliable service feels unacceptable.
Adding Friends: Adding friends, finding friends online, and playing together has been unnecessarily complicated and bugged.
Please Do Not Change the Creeper: Not everything needs to be “cute.” The Creeper is iconic because of its original design and identity. Please preserve the atmosphere and designs that made Minecraft special.
