Minecraft Feedback — Part 1
I love Minecraft but sad to see the directions its going.
Dog Noises: The “Puglin” dog sound is one of the worst additions I have ever heard. It doesn’t even sound like a dog—it sounds like a painful scream. Many players agree. We literally have to keep our tamed dogs far away just to avoid hearing something that sounds like it is dying every 30 seconds.
Beam Me Up: This achievement appears to be bugged and does not work.
Game Direction: I hope this changes with the game drop on the 26th, but Minecraft is becoming increasingly overwhelmed by a “cutesy” aesthetic. Cute additions are fine to an extent, but they should not come at the expense of the identity and atmosphere that made Minecraft special. Changing long-loved mobs, such as the Zombie Pigmen, affects their original design, name, lore, and concept. The constant addition of baby mobs and new wood types also feels unnecessary when there are much larger areas of the game that need attention.
The Warden: It is frustrating to have such a powerful mob that provides essentially no meaningful reward. Players have complained about this for a long time. It would make more sense if it were a unique creature, but with the Creeker being added as well, this seems to be becoming a pattern.
New Biomes, But No New Structures: We keep getting new biomes without enough structures, discoveries, or meaningful reasons to explore them. The new camp is a good start, but it is nowhere near enough.
