I have an idea for a rare secret Easter egg that could bring back the mystery surrounding Herobrine.
What if Mojang secretly added Herobrine as an extremely rare entity, with only around a 1% chance of being present in a newly generated world?
The important part: Mojang should never officially announce that Herobrine was added.
Herobrine could appear very rarely and briefly, perhaps somewhere far away from the player. There could also be subtle signs that something unusual is happening, but nothing that directly confirms his existence.
The funniest part would be if Mojang continued putting “Removed Herobrine” in the update changelogs, even though Herobrine was secretly still in the game.
This would make players question every sighting. If someone posted a video of Herobrine, everyone could legitimately wonder whether it was a mod, a glitch, or the real thing.
The goal wouldn't be to make Herobrine a normal hostile mob. He would be a rare, mysterious Easter egg that players might encounter only once in hundreds of hours.
Minecraft has one of the most famous gaming myths ever with Herobrine. Instead of explaining the legend, this could turn it into a genuine mystery within the game.
