The Ender Clock – A New Endgame Time Manipulation Item
I have an idea for a new endgame item that would allow players to temporarily manipulate the length of Minecraft's day and night cycle.
The item could be crafted using a rare material from The End, making it something players can only realistically obtain once they have reached the endgame.
The Ender Clock would be a single-use item. When activated, it could extend the length of the current day/night cycle for a limited period. For example, instead of the normal 20-minute Minecraft day, the cycle could last 60 minutes.
The goal isn't to permanently change Minecraft's time system, but to give players a way to temporarily control it when they want to spend a long time working on something without constantly having to stop and sleep.
Why this could be useful
Long building sessions, large-scale projects, redstone work, exploring and other endgame activities can make the normal day/night cycle feel repetitive. Having to return to a bed every few minutes can interrupt the flow of gameplay.
Because the Ender Clock would be rare and single-use, it wouldn't remove the importance of beds or completely change the game's progression. Instead, it would be a valuable resource that players could save for particularly long projects or important situations.
