Overgrown Crops

It would be really game-changing if a carrot, potato, beetroot or wheat crop is surrounded by the same crop in a 1-block radius and has access to water within a 3-block radius, there's a high chance that the crop in the middle will be overgrown variants, yielding 9 pieces of the same crop. I hope this idea is considered!
