The Ultimate Test

An epic endgame challenge introduces deep lore for Minecraft. To trigger the battle on any difficulty, players drop the one-of-a-kind Dragon Egg into an active End Gateway beam. The beam violently implodes into a deep purple rift, pulling the player into a psychological arena against Villainsbane, a dark manifestation of the player’s ultimate survival trial. Villainsbane wears no armor but possesses a massive 200 hearts. To prevent player cheesing, she dynamically shifts through two phases. In the first phase, she moves with hyper-speed, summoning Breezes to launch the player into the air while firing rapid arrows infused with Poison and Splash Harming II potions to choke out camping players. In the second phase, if players hide behind blocks or Iron Golems, she unleashes a penetrating, dark-purple Warden Sonic Roar causing wither hearts. She also mirrors the player's active weapon, forcing a pure skill duel.Defeating her yields End Matter, enough to upgrade one set of Netherite tools and armor into Endforce Netherite Gear. This gear never breaks past 1 HP and grants total Magic Damage immunity. The gameplay gear is available on all difficulties, but beating her on Hardcore Mode exclusively unlocks the ultimate account cosmetics: the Half Hardcore Heart Cape, the glowing Absolute Villainsbane Skin, and a Mythic variant of the Villainsbane Cloak in the Minecraft Dungeons franchise. This gives all players an insane boss fight while preserving the ultimate reward for the top 1%.
