Can Endermen in boats can be damaged by arrows be changed

I mean, although it wasn’t exactly reasonable that Endermen would deflect arrows in previous Minecraft versions either, I think Endermen should be immune to ranged damage. Why not let them teleport out of boats? If that can’t be done for technical reasons, then could there be an achievement for making an Enderman take ranged damage?

    I agree, enderman being immune to ranged attacks from bows is so iconic, not only that, but it makes it more of a challenge. Getting pearls is so lame if I can just bow them to death in a boat. Very anticlimactic.
