I would like Minecraft Bedrock Edition to adopt more of Java Edition’s combat and gameplay responsiveness.
First, I would like Bedrock to use Java Edition’s combat mechanics more closely, including its attack cooldown and overall combat behavior. The current combat system feels different enough that switching between Java and Bedrock can feel inconsistent.
Second, health regeneration should be faster, similar to Java Edition. In situations such as Trial Chambers, slow health regeneration can make fights unnecessarily difficult, especially when dealing with multiple enemies or taking damage repeatedly. Faster regeneration would make combat feel more responsive without necessarily making the game easier.
Finally, there is a small delay when breaking blocks consecutively. After breaking one block, there seems to be a very short pause before the next block starts breaking. This makes rapid block breaking feel slower and less responsive than Java Edition. I would like this delay to be removed or significantly reduced so that blocks can be broken consecutively without that split-second interruption.
Overall, these changes would make Bedrock’s combat and general gameplay feel more responsive and consistent with Java Edition.
