Trapdoors

Could we change the amount of trapdoors crafted with 6 wood? It doesn't make logical sense, and is way too expensive. 6 wood makes 3 doors. 6 glass makes 16 panes. 6 iron makes 16 bars. Trapdoors are the same thickness as doors. 3 pixels, yet half the size. By that logic, 6 wood should make 6 trapdoors instead of 3. It is such a simple quality of life fix.
