Burnt Wood/Logs and Ash

So the burnt wood would be made by putting planks or logs into furnance, i think it would make cool builds with it or just cool decoration. About Ash, it would be made from smelting burnt wood or putting burnt wood on campfire, Ash would be stored in bottles, what would Ash do? you can make blaze powder for example, by combining Ash and blaze rods in crafting table you can get 4 blaze powders instead of 2, same can be done with any other powder
