Vehicles in Minecraft: Cars, Trains, Planes & Submarines.

If Minecraft Added Cars

Contrary to popular belief, adding cars and other vehicles to Minecraft isn't impossible.

Cars, trains, planes and submarines would certainly stand out from what we currently have. However, they wouldn't necessarily make existing transportation useless if they had their own limitations.

For example, submarines could have a limited air supply and would need to return to the surface to refill it. This would make them different from the Nautilus, which provides a permanent underwater-breathing effect.

Different vehicles could have different purposes: cars for land travel, trains for transporting players and items over long distances, planes for fast aerial travel, and submarines for underwater exploration.

Vehicles could require fuel such as Coal or Redstone, depending on the vehicle. They could also take damage and require repairs using a Copper Wrench.

Vehicles could be crafted using existing materials such as Wood, Copper, Iron and other materials currently used for armor and tools. Different materials could be used for different vehicle parts, giving existing resources additional uses.

This way, vehicles wouldn't simply replace Minecraft's existing transportation methods—they would provide new options with their own advantages, limitations and mechanics.
