Dear Minecraft Development Team,
I would like to suggest an update focused on customizable coats and hats.
Minecraft is all about creativity, but players have limited ways to customize their characters. A wardrobe system could add more personality to players, villagers, roleplay servers, and historical builds.
Players could craft coats such as wool coats, leather jackets, parkas, and trench coats. Coats could be dyed and customized with patterns, buttons, collars, and trim using a Loom.
I would especially like to see historical military coats inspired by 1800–1845, including Napoleonic, British Redcoat, French, Prussian, early American, and Hussar-style uniforms. These would be great for historical recreations, roleplay, and fictional armies.
Matching hats could include shakos, bicorne hats, top hats, explorer hats, beanies, and crowns. A separate hat slot would let players wear them without replacing helmets.
A new Tailor villager and Sewing Table could provide clothing recipes and customization options, while rare designs could be found through exploration or trading.
This update would give players more ways to express themselves without changing Minecraft's core gameplay.
Thank you for considering my idea!
