I’d like to see a fence made of raw wood in the game, not just the standard plank-based fence. A wooden wall variant would be a great addition, too.
It would work just like Nether bricks, which have two variations: the fence and the wall.
This would be incredibly useful for decoration—allowing players to create tree branches or roots, or use fences and leaves to build miniature trees.
We could also add "log" versions where all sides are covered in bark.
It would also be possible to craft them back into planks; for instance, an oak wall could yield two planks, while an oak fence yields one. This way, it wouldn't just be a decorative block but one with crafting utility.
For variety, we could add stripped versions as well; these would likely see more use than standard plank fences because they look more natural.
A new item—bark—could also be introduced. Placing it next to stripped blocks in the crafting grid would allow you to revert them to their unstripped state.
And finally, we could add a dedicated bark block—essentially a hollow log.
