Hot! Hot!
An update where a new rare biome would appear in the world: a volcanic island, featuring a large central volcano made of basalt, stone, etc, with lava inside it and flowing down its slopes. The volcano would also release smoke from its crater.
The island's beaches could be made of gravel and a new type of black sand. The island would be filled with palm trees and would also be a rare biome containing large amounts of ores and fossils
Ash could also exist as a new resource. It could be collected using the brush, and when applied to a plant, it would cause the plant to spread between 2 and 5 additional saplings within a small area when planted, or 4 dirt blocks and 1 ash could be combined to create fertilized soil which would make crops grow twice as fast
This new biome could contain unique variants of existing mobs, such as wolves, skeletons, and others. There could also be a chance for magma cubes to spawn near the top of the volcano
It would also be interesting if hot/boiling water could only be found in this biome. It could appear in small pools along the volcano's slopes. This water could damage the player, bubble and even be collected with a bucket and placed inside a cauldron, causing the cauldron to have a bubbling effect which would look really cool
There could perhaps also be ruins of an ancient civilization or secret laboratories built into the volcano's slopes, where players could find new items, such as a new music disc, small decorative items, new potions, etc
