more curses could balance the game

I think that adding more curses to Minecraft could balance pvp and looting chest. adding interesting curses like one that makes your armour worse but gives you no knockback or one that makes your sword do more damage but does damage to your self. also when you find a cursed item in a chest the more/worse curses on should make the item better (iron to diamond kinda thing or more enchantments) if they put enough time into this i think it could fix pvp and make looting chest more fun.
