WHY ARE THERE SO MANY TREASURE MAPS ALL THE SAME??????

I found a treasure map, then I got to the location and dug. When I found the chest, all I got were two more maps, identical to the one I had before...

Minecraft has been around for 17 years!!! Don't you think you're old enough to stop acting like a child and do something about this!!!!!????
