Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Better mangrove trapdoor design idea

I want to start by saying: The Mangrove wood looks incredible, maybe will even become my favorite wood type. It definitely gives me 'Forbidden City' vibes and I love what you're bringing with the wild update.

This may be a long shot, but could you consider a new design for the mangrove trapdoors? Specifically, a design that reflects those beautiful asian styled lattice. (I don't know if there is a proper name for them, but I'm sure most whose reading this can picture exactly what I mean).

When I saw the new wood, I couldn't help but get excited because of how well they'd work for all my asian builds; That awesome red wood, beautiful fancy doors, but I was really hoping the trapdoors would be an asian lattice design. Just a general lattice trapdoor would be the greatest thing ever.

We kind of have this with the jungle trapdoors, but not quite, and this would be a great opportunity for a lattice.

I can understand it's suppose to be swampy designs, but I'm sure a lattice design for them would be greatly well received.

    Be gone the current one is awsome. A CIRCLE in a trapdoor aka potential porthole window. Please keep the current trapdoor design dont listen to this guy please. If you want a trapdoor like that. Suggest a new wood for it.

    A bit rude of a comment there. As I said in the OP, I'd be happy either way. I can't say I share the same interest with it being a circle... maybe because MC lacks circles? Or because a few YouTubers have also said they like that it's a circle, and of course herd mentality being what it is.

    Anyway don't get me wrong; It's still a nice design, I merely suggest it can be better. A lattice design would perferctly fit the whole color theme better. Maybe suggest your circles for another wood type (If a new one comes).
