Right now, getting the exact tier of Ominous Bottle you want requires a lot of luck when defeating Pillager Captains or exploring Trial Chambers. I would suggest letting players modify Ominous Bottle tiers using a Brewing Stand, while keeping it consistent with standard potion mechanics:
- To INCREASE: Brewing an Ominous Bottle with Glowstone Dust increases its tier by one level (eg. IV --> V), matching how Glowstone increases potion amplifiers normally.
- Downgrade: Brewing an Ominous Bottle with a Fermented Spider Eye decreases its tier by one level (eg. IV --> III), matching how it corrupts/reverses potion effects.
Why this should be added:
This gives players a great tactical use for Brewing Stands and better control over their game difficulty. If a player wants to challenge a max-level Trial Chamber (Tier V), they can invest their Glowstone. If a player gets a Tier V bottle but their gear isn't ready for a massive Raid, they can safely brew it down to a more manageable level using a Fermented Spider Eye.
